Meet the characters!
Marie Sklodovska Curie
Born in Poland in 1867, this super science hero went on to receive two Nobel Prizes for her important work in Physics and Chemistry. This was a tremendous accomplishment, particularly because she had to battle Monsieur O the whole time. Using the power of persistence, Marie was able to achieve a great many things in her life, things that make your life better. Do you have the power of persistence?
Pierre Curie
Pierre was Marie's friend, colleague, and husband (and also a super science hero). He and Marie worked together on many interesting projects and experiments. Sometimes, even Monsieur O joined them.
Nemesis
Meet the Villain. He has one objective: to take over the world (though he hasn't really thought about why he wants to do that). He spends all his time researching ways to reach his singular goal. So far, Super Evil Nemesis has figured out that if people don't know things, they will be afraid, and if people are afraid, they can be controlled. His mission is to stop the spread of knowledge, and he has a lot of minions to help him do just that. Yikes!
Monsieur O
Monsieur O is one of Super Evil Nemesis's minions. He was sent out to defeat Marie Curie. His task was to oppose Marie Curie every step of the way. He was very successful, and Marie encountered a great deal of opposition in her life. However, Marie was born with a very special super power of her own: the power of persistence. Did she defeat Monsieur O?
